January, 2009, Chinese friends visit Twin Valley High School and Brattleboro Union High School communities. We had a wonderful time on sleigh rides, a farm visit, school visits and a couple of great banquets. Hope to see you soon in China!

Chinese and American teachers enjoy one of the sleighs	The large draft horses pull this sleigh of students into the woods for a visit to a cabin.
At the cabin we all enjoyed "sugar on snow" a local delicacy made from thick maple syrup poured on fresh snow. The syrup gets gooey and thick and is super sweet. Often bread and pickles are served to counter-act the sweetness.	Pouring the syrup on the scoop of snow in a bowl. The snow cools the syrup fast thickening it up.
The sleighs heading home...	back to the farm.
