On my free time, when I am not busy working or doing homework, I like to do many different things. I do enjoy spending time with my friends, whatever we are doing. A lot of my friends, including myself, are really into the local music scene here in Brattleboro and the surrounding area. Many of my friends are in local bands, and we all travel together to go to shows.

I also enjoy playing basketball. I have been playing for 5 years now, and I play pretty much year round. I am on a team that even travels around Vermont and as far away as Albany, NY to play different teams in tournaments. Once a year, our team travels to Burlington, which is in northern Vermont, where we play teams from all over Vermont in a State Championship. The winning team travels to Boston to play against other teams from all over New England in the Regional Championship. From there, you can even get to Nationals. The team that I play on has only come in second in the State Championship, but we are still working hard to win.

I not only like playing basketball, I also like watching it. This is a recent boys varsity basketball game, in our schools newly renovated gym.

I also enjoy art of all kinds. I really like visiting museums and even making my own art. (Look at the art page to find out more.)

I like to snow board. Luckily, I live in an area that has many ski resorts around, including a very small hill in town. It is fun to spend this time with some of my closest friends.
