Nanking Incident

During World War Two, or more accurately December, 1937, Japanese troops went on a whirlwind rampage campaign to claim close lying territory and expand their empire. These vicious acts of Imperialism eventually extended themselves to China, and more importantly the quiet city of Nanking. During the Japanese rampage it was estimated that 369,366 civilian NCOs were slaughtered on the streets by the invading Japanese. Among those, 80,000 women and girls were raped and decapitated. That is where the massacre got the infamous name "The Rape of Nanking."

The Japanese took many prisoners and tortured them mercilessly. Whether it was using them as live bayonet practice, or dousing them in gasoline and immolating them, the Japanese thought nothing about how savage they were being. China suffered dearly, and some of the bitter hatred still lingers among the descendants from those who survived, and those who didn't.
