Buddhism
is the 4th largest religion in the world today. It was founded by a man
named SiddharthaGautama in norhern india in 535 BC. There are 2 main types;
Theravada Buddhism, or Southern Buddhism, and Mahayana Buddhism, or Northern
Buddhism. There is also Tibetan Buddhism and Modern Buddhism.

3 Practices
Sila-Virtue, good conduct, mortality.
Based on 2 principals, equality and reciprocity, or do to others as
you would wish them to do to you.
Samadhi-Concentration, meditation and
mental development. Developin gones mind is the way to wisdom which
leads to personal freedom.
Prajna-Discernment or the ability to
make good judgement, insight, wisdom and enlightenment will emerge if
your mind is pure and calm.
5 Precepts
Do not kill
Do not steal
Do not lie
Do not misuse sex
Do not consume alchohol or drugs
4 Noble Truths
Dukka- The reality of suffering
Samudaya-The cause of suffering id the
desire to have or controll things
Nirodha-Suffering ceases with final
liberation of Nirvana
Magga-The Eightfold Path leads to a
cease of suffering
