There are way too many traditional musical instruments to even begin to count. Most of the instruments date back to the days of Baroque music, but many more were created long before that time period. The instruments were split up into basically the same groups as the classical music we are familiar with. The groups are: woodwind, percussion, string, brass, and metal.
